With the 2015 vintage, our winemaker, Peter Heitz, scored a perfect 10 for consistency! Tasting notes from the 2014 vintage, see below, apply to the 2015 vintage as well. We trust you’ll agree that the wine is absolutely stunning – delicious, fulfilling and most of all intriguing. 53% Petite Sirah, 41% Grenache, 6% Syrah. 277 cases produced.
WINEMAKING NOTES: The estate fruit was handpicked and co-fermented; 10% whole-cluster. Hand punch-downs added elegance while indigenous yeast preserved sense of place. Pressed to barrel for malolactic fermentation and aged in second turn French Oak, the wines were blended just before bottling.
